
Summer payout
True to tradition, we carried out a post-settlement before the summer, this time amounting to NOK 20.6 million. NOK 11 million of this was settled to performers and NOK 9.6 million was settled to producers.
The money must be in the account on June 12.
IFPI and FONO members will receive payment via these.
This is included in the June payment:
- Kringkasting 2019 - 2022
Remuneration for radio recordings that have been identified or changed since the previous payment. The settlement is based on playtime reports from NRK, P4, Bauer Media (Radio Norway) and local radio stations. - Public performance 2019 - 2022
Remuneration for publicly performed recordings that have been identified or changed since the previous payment. Settlement is based on playtime reports from Liveqube, Sonos and the radio channels. For the first time, remuneration is also paid for recordings that have been publicly performed via Soundtrack Your Brand. - Main settlement local radio 2022
We pay remuneration for reported recordings that have been broadcast on local radio in 2022 - Money from abroad
Remuneration to performers for radio play in these countries: Finland (Gramex FI), Croatia (Huzip), Belgium (Playright), UK (PPL), Netherlands (Sena), Sweden (Sami) and Poland (SAWP).

Astrid S was the most played lead artist on Norwegian radio in 2025, with 1,938 hours of playing time spread across 56 recordings. Behind her are a number of international names on the top list; Alex Warren, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga and Sabrina Carpenter.
