Gramo's annual meeting: solid results and important decisions for the future
Gramo's annual meeting was held on June 2, 2026 in the new premises at Kongens gate 12. It was also possible to participate digitally. The annual meeting brought together members from both the performer and producer groups, and discussed, among other things, the annual accounts, transparency report, elections and central principles for Gramo's activities.
Growth in revenue
The annual accounts for 2025 show a positive development for Gramo. Operating revenues increased to NOK 282.2 million, a growth of 5.9 percent from the previous year. Operating profit was NOK 225.8 million, and ordinary profit ended at NOK 235.7 million – funds that are fully transferred to the settlement of remuneration and fund fees.
The board highlighted several important milestones from the past year, including the transition to the new rights management system Apollon, coordinated collection of background music together with TONO, moving into new premises and strengthened international cooperation.
The measures are expected to yield annual savings of approximately NOK 12 million.
Over NOK 146 million paid to licensees
The transparency report for 2025 shows that during the year, Gramo paid out NOK 70.4 million to performing artists and NOK 76.4 million to producers.
The administration also provided information on the work to further develop more precise distribution models and implement a rights management system.
Unanimous decisions throughout the annual meeting
The annual meeting unanimously approved the board's annual report, audited annual accounts, transparency report, non-distributable funds and the general principles for distribution, investment and risk management.
Clear ambitions going forward
With solid financial results, increased efficiency and major ongoing development projects, Gramo is moving forward with clear ambitions: to strengthen rights management, increase transparency and ensure the best possible value creation for performers and producers.
