
Main payment from Gramo for 2025
Gramo has distributed and paid out NOK 117.7 million to artists, musicians, record labels and personal producers for the use of recorded music in 2025 and subsequent payments for 2023 and 2024. This is the first of three payments in 2026.
The payout includes the following:
1. Main payment for radio 2025
The payment applies to remuneration for the use of recorded music in all channels of the following broadcasters:
- NRK
- P4
- Radio Norge
- Local radio
2. Main payment for customer premises 2025
As part of the work to increase the precision in the distribution of collected remuneration, Gramo has also this year had a major focus on the data basis for billing recorded music used in customer premises.
3. Post-payment for radio and customer premises (2023 and 2024)
Subsequent payments are made when we have received new or updated information after previous payments, or have identified additional rights holders. The subsequent payment applies to remuneration for the use of recorded music on radio and in customer premises.
4. International revenues
This payment also includes royalties for the use of recorded music in the following countries:
- Belgium
- Brazil
- Denmark
- Finland
- Ireland
- Italy
- Croatia
- Netherlands
- Slovenia
- United Kingdom
- Sweden

Gramo's annual meeting was held on June 2, 2026 in the new premises at Kongens gate 12. It was also possible to participate digitally. The annual meeting brought together members from both the performer and producer groups, and discussed, among other things, the annual accounts, transparency report, elections and central principles for Gramo's activities.

Astrid S tops the radio statistics for 2025
Astrid S was the most played lead artist on Norwegian radio in 2025, with 1,938 hours of playing time spread across 56 recordings. Behind her are a number of international names on the top list; Alex Warren, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga and Sabrina Carpenter.
